The Fashion Week Amsterdam FW 2015 Highlights
Fashionweek Amsterdam fall winter 2015 just ended last Monday. You probably saw some life updates from the shows I attended on my Facebook page. I will tell a bit about the shows I really liked. You can see the rest for yourself in the movie clips.
Aziz Bekkaoui
I always like Aziz because of his strong and masculine clothes and powerful way of showing it in his shows. This time it looked like his message had something to do with the conflict in Palestine. The prints used in his collection had similarities with the Palestine flag.
Bas Kosters
I was one of Bas Kosters’ personal sect members during his show on Friday. Bas his show is always highly anticipated by a lot of people. The Gashouder is always fully packed with people. Thats because Bas knows how to turn the catwalk in to a real fashion party. I got so much adrenaline from participating in the show. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to walk in his or someones show again.
Dennis Diem
I absolutely loved everything Dennis showed on the runway. His designs are always so well crafted and so chic. Designs made out of green iridescent beetle shields formed the most mouth dropping and asthonishing pieces of the collection. It really looked like the scales of a fish. I just wanted to run backstage and steal everything. I also love the fact that he is such a humble man. I noticed that when I congratulated him backstage after the show.
Dorhout Mees
Her collection was so classic and well thought. Dorhout presented the crows not just with a straightforward catwalk show, but with the loveliest of settings. I just wanted to grab off the clothes of each model immediately every time I saw how beautiful the design where. Well done Dorhout, well done!
The look from the frontpage picture: wearing two designs by Sabine Staartjes her Happyless collection, an Asos clutch, Jeffrey Campell shoes and a Topshop earring.
