Gentlemen’s virtue, with a splash of a women’s appealingness

I just started watching the show ‘Downtown Abbey ‘ which takes place in a beautiful castle. The show begins with the tragic news about the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. The castle but especially the clothing in the show makes me think about how life was back then. I would have love to wear the clothes they wore around that time. And then I thought, why not wear them right now? If you feel like wanting to wear something, just do it! So I did. I love how different things can give me inspiration in my style.

The look: glasses are from H&M, earring from the private sale by Iris (closed), bow tie is from C4C vintage, shirt by ZUMO from Fittz, coat and pants are vintage from Het Kaufhaus, loafers are from Topman, bag is vintage from Episode and the watch is from Phillipe Starck. Pictures by: Maikel Huijsman.
