Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is a festival which is held in Amsterdam annualy. It’s the biggest club based festival in the world. It’s a five days festival with 2.000 artist performing on 450 events in 100 locations. That is a lot! So what to do? Let me help you by giving you party tips for every day.

Wednesday: 

You should visit the Cr2 Records label night & Live Panel Evening. Cr2 is the biggest international record label. You will get a chance to get some feedback on your music. So if you are planning on, or already making music you should really visit this. One of the people who will be there is Tommie Sunshine who is a inspiration for a lot of people and a really sweet man. You probably already know him because he does many things at the moment. He is an artist, remixer, producer, vocalist, radio jock, label owner, DJ and songwriter and made me love him for his legendary hybrid live performances and DJ sets. I’m a frequent listener of his sets on soundcloud. After the panel there will be a club night with many good dj’s.

Thursday: 

On this day -without any doubt- you must go to RAUW! This year RAUW is celebrating their 10 year anniversary all year round. This night will be extra special, it will be a ADE extravaganza. Not only because my dear friend Joost van Bellen just came back from Ibiza and had all the time to prepare a good set (like he always does!). But also because some very cool other artist like Aeroplane, Riton, 2manydjs and many more will be there to sweep you off your feet.

After the immense, tremendous and mighty night at RAUW a more laid back party is suitable. Go to Soul Heaven ADE special with RISKSOUNDSYSTEM and the legend from Chicago Terry Hunter. There will be a lot of good house music to make your soul go to heaven.

Saturday:

I have a lot to give you on this day. You should really visit the exhibition from photographer Cleo Campert. The exhibition shows pictures that you’ve never seen before from aftersparty’s in the early nineties. After that there will be an Afterparty in corporation with ANTI FASHION PARTY hosted by my friends Bas Kosters and Jojanneke van der Veer aka dj BAs Kosters and dj WANNEBEASTAR. Joost van Bellen and Larry Tee will also play there.  I will do some crazy performances there. Must be enough to convince you!

After the afterparty you should join me to O.W.A.P. intiem ADE special. O.W.A.P. (The Original Warehouse Acid Party) is no average house classics party, but the Mother of all parties. You can really feel that when walking around there. This is the place where all the movements in dance music of the last 25 years have found their roots, organized by the originals of old glorious times. If you don’t believe me you should talk to Joost van Bellen. He is one off the people who made house music what it is today. Legend dj Dimitri will be there after his long absence due to injury. It’s a must to hear him play again! Miss Bunty will be there ass well to hit those high notes and make your experience even more intense.

Sunday:

After al the crazy partying from the past days its probably best to stay in bed and cuddle with your romantic partner or leftover(s) from your one night stand(s). That’s what I’m going to do. But if you can’t help yourself you can visit the ADE website to see whats out there. After all the party tips I gave you, I know you will pick just the right one.

One last tip! Don’t wear heels because ADE will make you dance your feet like crazy.
