AFW July 2013 day two
Wearing a vintage fake fur coat, the wooden bow tie, a vintage fake leather pants, Jeffrey Campells and a vintage fake fur bag.
So day two of Fashion Week Amsterdam was a lot of running around. The famous Joost van Bellen had to DJ at Extrema Outdoor in Aquabest near Eindhoven. The whole RAUWcrew came along, it’s like family after being together for so long. I’ve been one of the RAUWcrew members for three years now and I’m never going to stop! Joost van Bellen played a really nice set for the celebration of 10 years of RAUW. You should have been there to hear it!
After that we went straight to Amsterdam for the show of Cleas Iversen. I had a custom change in the back of the RAUW Vengabus and ran to the show on my heels. The show completely blew me away. The collection was inspired by summer rain and protection. The use of many beads, hanging in strings with the high waists were breathtaking. It looked exactly like the flow of raindrops. Combined with the music from Star Studded Studios made it an memeroble show which made me speechless. Take my advice and listen to the music! The pictures from the show are here.
After the show we went to Tivoli in Utrecht with the RAUWcrew for our monthly club night called RAUW. RAUW is just about good music. Not all the shit around it. The crowd always goes wild and the vibe is extremely good. You should come some time. Make sure you check out the RAUW blog once in a while. Who am I kidding! Everyday of course.
